On a More Personal Note………

I became involved in the Art of Makeup through a series of events that so many people can relate to:

I was in the right place at the right time and met the right people. Those and many others have impacted me along the way in a huge, positive manner.

This enabled me to change my thinking, my outlook and my future…

I have one real rule… only do what you enjoy, and do it to the best of your ability!

This may sound crazy but I truly believe we are all given great gifts and talents that we have the ability to develop and use every day to impact our life and those around us positively.

As a classically trained painter I could only impact those who saw my work and my immediate circle was small….as a makeup artist I feel I have impacted many….even those outside my circle of influence…

Makeup/Skin Care is personal, its powerful and when executed correctly it can be an education of self beauty…it reveals various aspects of a personality. It can transform a self-image and allow an individual to co-exist with the perception that it carries and many times it changes how they view or express themselves.

The real trick is to appreciate and highlight one’s individuality while compromising nothing of their personality. A daunting task.

Whether it’s a President or a Prime Minister; a professional or a blushing bride – Image, in our society, (whether you like it or not) is everything.

To me beauty is beauty…it comes in many shapes, sizes and skin types…..
